1. Who we are

3. How we use your information
- Create, verify (KYC), and secure your retailer account.
- Show the catalogue, process orders, and arrange and track delivery.
- Apply service-area rules so products display and can be ordered only where we can deliver them.
- Send order, payment, and delivery notifications.
- Generate GST tax invoices for your orders.
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal and tax obligations.
- Diagnose crashes and improve app performance.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With our delivery personnel, so they can deliver your order to the address you provided.
- With service providers that operate parts of the app on our behalf — chiefly Google / Firebase (push notifications, analytics, crash reporting) and Google Maps Platform (address selection and geocoding). Their processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
- When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. Order and invoice records are retained for as long as required for accounting, tax (including GST), and legal purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
6. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections, passwords are stored using one-way hashing, and access to personal data is restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Your rights & choices
- Access & correction — view and update your profile and addresses in the app, or contact us.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data (see the next section).
- Notifications — turn off push notifications in your device settings at any time.
- Location — you can deny or revoke location permission in device settings; some delivery features may then be limited.

9. Children
Cherish is a wholesale app intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
